Speech Title: Micro-Universe Action and Knowledge Graphs of Gut Microbiota 微宙行动与肠道微生物知识图谱

Abstract

Microbes play an integral role in all aspects of our lives, including digestion, immune responses and even human behavior. Various community of microbiota live in parts of the body, in which each performs its own role and forms a complete ecosystem. The various oddities that occur in the body can be explained in terms of the diversity and specificity of human microbes, which can also demonstrate the differences between people. The goal of the Micro-Universe Action is to  reveal the secrets about tens of billions of microbial bacteria live in our bodies. The first phase of the project aims to construct a knowledge service platform for gut microbiota, which will be available for knowledge reasoning and querying.  In this talk, we will report the progress on Micro-Universe Action and show the advances of the development of Knowledge Graphs of Gut Microbiota.
